If your rear seat measures 300mm+, or your bike runs grab handles, you’ll want the Adjustable Rackless Base for the best fit and stability.

⚠️ Recommended Adjustable Base for:

• BMW R1200 / R1250 / R1300 GSA

• Husqvarna 901 Expedition

• Any large ADV bike with a wide or flat rear seat

Will the Rackless Base Fit My Bike?

Yes — almost certainly.
Nomad Moto rackless bases are designed to fit the vast majority of ADV and dual-sport motorcycles.

The only decision is Standard vs Adjustable — and that comes down to seat width.

Quick Fit Guide (60 Seconds)

Choose the Adjustable Rackless Base if:

• Rear seat width is 300mm+

• Front of rear seat is 200mm+

• Your bike has a wide, flat seat or grab handles

• Common on big ADV bikes (GSA, 901, KLR650 Gen 3)

Choose the Standard Rackless Base if:

• Your seat tapers toward the rear

• Rear seat is under 300mm

• Most mid-size ADV & dual-sport bikes fall here

• Put your heavier items in the pannier opposite your exhaust for better balance.

• Keep the bulk of your weight on top of, or in front of, your rear axle — this is where the bike stays stable.
