John Hudson — Crash Tested

APC Rally boss John Hudson hits the deck hard — and credits the Stockman bags for saving the bike from serious damage. Built tough, built to protect, built for real riders.

John Hudson Runs The Stockman

Adventure legend John Hudson puts the Stockman Series to work — showing how the lightweight, low-profile setup carries the essentials without slowing you down. Fast to pack, rock-solid on the bike, and built for real Aussie conditions.

Simple. Tough. Hudson-Approved.

Will the Stockman Panniers Fit My Racks?

Will they fit my pannier racks?

Yes — as long as your racks are square or rectangular, they're compatible.

I run steel panniers (BMW F900, V-Strom, Tiger, KTM Adventure)

Yes. Built to fit most standard pannier racks used with metal panniers.

What if the quick-release fittings don't reach around my rack?

No problem. The quick-release fittings are fully removable. Slide them out and use the included heavy-duty webbing straps to secure the panniers straight to your rack.

Do my racks need to be round tubing?

No. The mounting system works with racks of various shapes, not just round tubing.

Does my pannier frame need to be flat?

Flat is ideal. But if your rack has a small offset or step to clear the exhaust, the panniers will still fit securely.

Not Sure If Your Racks Fit?

Send us a photo of your pannier racks and we'll check for you.

What If They Don't Fit?

You're covered. We'll send a pre-paid return label and refund you in full. No hassle, no risk.

Founder Video — Waterproof Test

We don't just claim waterproof — we prove it. Every Nomad Moto bag is welded, not stitched, with 100% waterproof TPU and roll-top seals. Designed for real riders who hit real weather. Tough rides, dry gear.

This Video shows you have to attach the Strzelecki Panniers to Luggage Racks

Kurt — Founder

Here's how to fit your Nomad Moto panniers to any pannier rack — quick, secure, and rock-solid on the rough stuff.

Why We Use TPU, Not PVC

Every Nomad Moto bag is built from 1000D thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) — the toughest, lightest waterproof material we could put on a bike. Most soft luggage uses PVC. We don't. Here's why it matters.

Zero Water Absorption

TPU doesn't soak. Ride through a river crossing, roll into camp — your bag weighs the same wet as it did dry. PVC swells and holds water. TPU shrugs it off.

Won't Rot, Won't Crack

Resistant to abrasion, UV, and wear. Built to take corrugations, sand, and long miles without breaking down.

Lighter, Stronger

More tear-strength per gram than PVC. You carry less weight for the same tough build.

Recyclable & Low-Tox

TPU is a low-toxicity material and can be recycled at end of life. Gear that lasts longer and wastes less.

Ride more. Waste less.

Nomad Moto Warranty Policy

Built tough. Backed properly.

We stand behind every piece of Nomad Moto gear we make. If you ride it as intended, we back it — simple as that.

What You're Covered For

2-Year Manufacturer's Warranty — Covers defects in materials or workmanship.

2-Year Crash Damage Warranty — Yep — even if you drop it during normal adventure riding.

Why We Cover Crash Damage

We ride too. Adventure riding isn't always smooth, and gear should be backed for real-world use — not just showroom conditions. If your gear takes a hit, we've got your back.

What's Covered

Defects in materials or workmanship

Crash damage from falls or accidents during normal ADV riding

Valid for the original purchaser (order confirmation or receipt required)

What's Not Covered

Damage caused by misuse, incorrect fitting, or unauthorised modifications

Normal wear and tear

Warranty is not transferable

Returning Warranty Items

When we send out a replacement, we need the original item back. If we've shipped your replacement and the faulty item isn't returned within 14 days, we'll charge you for the replacement at full price.

It's not about red tape — we need the gear back to inspect faults, improve our product, and keep the warranty fair for everyone.

Rack-mount walkthrough

TIGHT. SOLID. LOCKED IN.

Run pannier racks? Our bags mount straight to them and pull in dead tight. Up close, you can see exactly how they lock down.

Shown here on the Stockman — but it's the exact same mount on the Strzelecki. Same system, same lock-down.

Cinch them in and they don't move. No sway. No shift. No rattle down a corrugated track.

Drop the bike and they hold. Tough TPU shell — they won't pull off and they won't rip.

Pull them tight. They don't budge.

No bulk. Ride further.

Stockman Panniers · Rack Version

WHO IS THE STOCKMAN RACK VERSION FOR?

Compact, tough, and built for riders who want soft luggage performance on a rack. No bulk. No rattling. No leaking. Just gear that works.

The Trail Rider

Technical Terrain. Lightweight Gear.

You're on a smaller bike, running a rack for protection on technical stuff. You don't want heavy plastic panniers dragging the bike around. The Stockman gives you soft bag weight and performance on a rack — lightweight, waterproof, and tight on the bike when the track gets rough. If the food runs out and something moves across the track — well, that's dinner sorted too.

The Weekend Warrior

Friday To Sunday. No Fuss.

Friday night you're loading up. Sunday night you're home. You've already got a rack on the bike — you just need bags that work without overthinking it. The Stockman clips on, stays put, and comes off fast when you pull into the pub. Done.

The Commuter Adventurer

Work Week. Adventure Weekend.

The rack is permanent — it lives on the bike. You need bags that clip on Friday and off Monday without tools, without drama. Waterproof enough to handle whatever the week throws at it. Light enough you forget they're there on the commute.

The Minimalist

Exactly What You Need. Nothing More.

You don't want 80L of gear. You want exactly what you need and nothing more. The Stockman 50L is the sweet spot — enough for a few days out, light enough to not slow you down, tough enough to handle whatever you throw at it. Less is more.

The Best Compact Rack Pannier On The Market

Soft Bag Performance. Rack Stability.

The Stockman rack version gives you the best of both worlds — the waterproof TPU construction and lightweight performance of a soft bag, with the stability and bike protection of a rack. No rattling. No cracking. No water absorption. Just reliable gear that gets out of your way and lets you ride.

Compact. Tough. Ready when you are.

1000D TPU. Waterproof. Lightweight. No excuses.

No PVC

1000D TPU
Adventure Grade

Lighter · Tougher · Waterproof

Built for real adventure riding

Why we use TPU —
not PVC

Most adventure luggage on the market is made from PVC.

Even some premium brands only use TPU coatings over fabric.

At Nomad Moto we use 1000D TPU because it's tougher, lighter and more flexible. It handles crashes, heat and thousands of kilometres of real off-road riding without cracking or going brittle.

TPU costs more. But you're not buying showroom gear. You're buying gear that survives the ride.

"Adventure riders need gear that survives the ride — not the showroom."

We sell direct so you get tougher gear at the right price — no dealer markups, no middlemen, no compromises.

John Hudson — Stockman 50L on Pannier Racks, APC Rally

Tough As Nails · APC Rally · Brisbane, Australia

STOCKMAN 50L ON PANNIER RACKS.

"Solid panniers and roll bag — no mucking around."

We ran the Nomad Moto Stockman panniers and roll bag in proper APC Rally conditions — long days, heat, corrugations, sand, river crossings and the odd crash. They stayed solid from start to finish.

Mounted on pannier racks, the panniers sit tight and don't sway or bounce around, even when fully loaded. Add the roll bag on top and the whole setup works as a system — nothing shifts, nothing loosens, and you're not constantly stopping to re-tighten straps.

They're also spot-on for pub stays and accommodation. Roll into town, unclip what you need, and you're done. This is gear built for real riding — not marketing photos.
