Before you strip layers, do this:

Take a slow breath in through your mouth.

If you feel a cold hit on the back of your throat…
that’s the real temperature you’re about to ride in.

Not standing still.
Not in the sun.
At speed.

That’s wind chill.

Why It Works

When you’re riding, airflow increases heat loss fast. What feels mild when you’re off the bike can turn cold quickly once you’re moving.
