Every bike is different. Subframe geometry, bodywork angles, contact points — they vary across every make and model on the market. Our rackless base is designed for universal fit, and it does that job well. But universal fit doesn't always mean perfect fit. Sometimes there's a gap between the base and your specific bike. Small. But there.
That gap is where vibration lives. It's where micro-movement starts. And over thousands of kilometres it works against your system — loosening contact, wearing surfaces, and transferring load onto your plastics in ways they weren't designed to handle.

What BASELOCK™ Is
BASELOCK™ is a foam and poly board insert that sticks directly onto your Nomad Moto rackless base. The foam exterior conforms to your bodywork and fills the gap. The rigid poly board core holds its shape under load — it doesn't compress flat, it stays put and keeps your base locked in position.

Why We Built It
Riders told us. Across a huge range of bikes, the same feedback kept coming — great system, but they wanted that last bit of locked-in feel at the base. We listened. We couldn't machine a custom base for every frame geometry on the market. But we could engineer a 180 gram fix that works across all of them.
