Why We Use TPU, Not PVC

Every Nomad Moto bag is built from 1000D thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) — the toughest, lightest waterproof material we could put on a bike. Most soft luggage uses PVC. We don't. Here's why it matters.

Zero Water Absorption

TPU doesn't soak. Ride through a river crossing, roll into camp — your bag weighs the same wet as it did dry. PVC swells and holds water. TPU shrugs it off.

Won't Rot, Won't Crack

Resistant to abrasion, UV, and wear. Built to take corrugations, sand, and long miles without breaking down.

You see exactly where each strap goes and how it all pulls tight. No sway. No slop. No wrestling it into place. This one's got BASELOCK fitted — that's an optional extra, not a must-have.
