I’ve just spent five days riding the South Island of New Zealand — mountains, rivers, dust, long gravel roads and endless kilometres of proper adventure riding.

On the ride there was another rider running a big 80L luggage setup from another brand. It was bulky, wide and heavy.

By the end of the trip he said something I’ve heard many times over the years.

“I can’t wait to get this bulky setup off my bike.”

And honestly, it’s something a lot of adventure riders eventually realise.
